Attention all gypsies, tramps and thieves: “The Cher Show” is slated for a San Francisco visit in June.
The Tony Award-winning jukebox musical tracing the life and career of the timeless pop and film diva is scheduled for a limited run at the Curran on June 18-23, courtesy of BroadwaySF.

The show, which features a book by Rick Elice, is built around 35 hit songs that embody Cher’s long and varied career, such as “I Got You Babe,” “The Beat Goes On,” “Dark Lady” and “The Way of Love,” among others.
Three leading ladies depict the subject at different points in her life. In her earliest incarnation, in the 1950s and ’60s, the central character, dubbed Babe, is portrayed by Ella Perez. Catherine Ariale plays Lady (for the 1970s) and Morgan Scott appears as Star (the 1980s and ’90s).
In addition to Cher herself, the cast includes depictions of her husbands Sonny Bono and Gregg Allman, comic actor Lucille Ball, and the legendary designer Bob Mackie, whose costumes fill the show.
The show is directed by Casey Hushion and choreographed by Antoinette DiPietropolo.
